Steve has performed and toured with artists such as Prince, Doc Severinsen Big Band, Larry Graham, Carmen Electra, Garrison Keillor's Prairie Home Companion, Lenny Kravitz, Michael Bolton, Trisha Yearwood, Burt Bacharach, Gladys Knight, The Temptations, The Four Tops, Tony Bennett, Wayne Newton and Johnny Mathis, and in pit show Orchestras at the Ordway, Orpheum, Carlton Celebrity room, and State theaters. Also performances with the Minnesota Orchestra, Minnesota Pops Orchestra, Minnesota Sinfonia and Lorie Line's Pop Chamber Orchestra. Steve has also had appearances on MTV, MTV Europe and the Arsenio Hall Show.

His recordings include Prince, Baby Face, Mandy Moore, Hornheads, The Jonas Brothers, Chaka Kahn, Larry Graham (Sly and the Family Stone) and Carmen Electra. Commercial jingle projects include BMW, Cadillac, Holiday Inn Express, Target, CNN, Kare 11 News, WCCO 4 News, TNN Sports, ESPN, Minnesota Wild themes, Atlanta Thrashers themes, Minnesota Twins, Purina, Skippy Peanut Butter plus many others.
